Oslo, 06 January 2023 – Xplora Technologies, Europe’s leading smartwatch company for kids, today announced a collaboration agreement with Elisa Oyj in Finland.
The agreement marks another step to drive growth in the Finnish market and showcases the strong value proposition provided by Xplora’s industry leading product offering. Xplora extends its distribution capacity in the Nordics through the collaboration agreement with Elisa Oyj (‘Elisa’) in Finland.
Elisa will market and sell Xplora’s industry leading and recently award-winning XGO3 and X6Play smartwatches across Finland. “Over the course of 2022, Elisa has experienced tremendous growth in the demand for children’s wearable phones. Wearable phones enable children to stay in touch with their loved ones while not exposing children to all content available on the internet.

Xplora has in recent years successfully built a strong market presence for kids’ smartwatches in Finland as a mobile service provider through own webstores and a growing number of retail partners. Xplora has reached 7% Nordic penetration with more than 150,000 subscribers in the target market of children aged 4-10 with Xplora Connect and is widening its reach and strengthening its brand and market position through telco distribution agreements.
