How does the XGO3 work?
The Xplora XGO3 smart watch keeps the whole family connected. This clever alternative to a mobile phone for children is equipped with a SIM card so you can make calls, send, receive messages, and pull up your child's live location via GPS.
Thanks to the Xplora parent app for smartphones, you can keep an eye on everything: Connect the watch to the app, define the contacts your kids can communicate with via the smartwatch and set your personalised school mode and individual safety zones.

The safe alternative to a smartphone for children
Would you like your child to be able to call you on the go without having a full-fledged mobile phone? The XGO3 smartwatch for children offers a safe solution: calls and (voice) messages are possible, but surfing the Internet is excluded. The Xplora smart watch only offers the functions that a child really needs.
Making calls with the children's smart watch is very simple - you can operate it easily by tapping on the touchscreen.

Safe areas for your child with GPS trackersFeel safe and carefree when your child is out and about. Thanks to the XGO3's GPS location tracking, you can easily see where your child is with a real-time map display. Within the Xplora parent app on your smartphone, you can also define personalised safe areas. You have full control over the radius of these safe areas. If your child enters or leaves these areas, the kids' watch recognizes this and sends you a notification on your smartphone. This way, you know immediately when your child has arrived safely at school or can react quickly if your child gets lost or needs your support.

You can easily set a school mode for your child's school hours via the parent app. It then activates automatically during your child's lesson times.
In school mode, it is not possible to make normal calls with the XGO3 or to read or send messages. The watch only displays the time to ensure that your child is not distracted during lessons. The SOS button remains functional in school mode to quickly call for help in case of an emergency. You can always view your child's location via the app. Thanks to our school mode, the Xplora smartwatch is popular compared to other children's smart watches.

If your child needs you, they can simply press the SOS button on the XGO3 kids smart watch for five seconds. This will call the two family members you have set as admins via the app one after the other. In addition, your child's location is sent to both admins via a push message.

To ensure that children have fun while wearing the Xplora Watch, your child can collect Xplora Coins on our activity platform by taking steps. You can then use these coins to bid on great products or exchange them for exciting child-friendly online content.
You can easily register your child on the activity platform via the parent app. Content on the platform is not visible on the XGO3 children's smart watch, but can only be accessed via a device with a browser, i.e. a PC, laptop, or tablet.
With the built-in pedometer and the associated activity platform, we promote a healthy balance between screen time and physical activity and motivate children to get moving.
